AE Hosts First Round of “The Next Top Chef 2024” Competition

Brunswick, April 10, 2024 — The culinary excitement was palpable at Brunswick Campus this past Wednesday as students participated in the first round of the eagerly awaited "The Next Top Chef 2024" competition.

Students showcased their exceptional culinary talents, vying for top honors and scholarships. Chef Madeleine Bolger, a renowned Hospitality Trainer, led the event with the support of an esteemed judging panel that included Will Yu, Head of Hospitality; Sylvia Lushaj, Gold Plate Award-winning Chef; and Elly Wang, Industry Hospitality Specialist.

The judges faced a challenging task in selecting the winners due to the high level of skill demonstrated by all participants. After much deliberation, the following students emerged victorious:

1st Prize - $1,500:

2nd Prize - $1,000:

• Noppanut Chiamphanthong

3rd Prize - $750:

• Breverly Antonio

• Vincent Pe
