Frequently Asked Questions
Under Australian regulations, international students on a student visa generally cannot change providers until they have completed 6 months of their principal course. Changes before this period require a release from your current provider (usually provided as written confirmation) and are only granted in limited circumstances, such as compassionate or compelling reasons, or where the provider has not met its obligations.
Changing your course may impact your student visa, depending on your individual circumstances. For accurate and up-to-date information, please refer to the Department of Home Affairs or a registered migration agent.
Credit transfer depends on the relevance and level of your previous qualifications. Eligible students may receive recognition for prior learning, which can reduce study duration and fees. We can assess your eligibility based on your previous studies.
If you have not completed 6 months of your principal course, you will need to obtain a release from your current provider. Releases are granted only in specific circumstances. Your enrolment can proceed once these requirements have been met.
Once all eligibility requirements are confirmed and documentation is complete, the enrolment process typically takes around 2–3 weeks, depending on individual circumstances.
Entry requirements vary by course and may include academic qualifications, English language proficiency (typically IELTS 5.5–7.0 depending on the course), and course-specific prerequisites. Our education advisors can provide general information and assess your eligibility.
